2nd Automatic Assessment of Parkinsonian Speech Workshop

This workshop aims to put together speech professionals with different backgrounds to discuss and advance in the field of the automatic assessment of parkinsonian speech. The long-term goal is to gain new knowledge about the interaction between speech and Parkinson’s disease, which could be used for diagnosis, assessment, and rehabilitation purposes, especially in the early stages.

Attenders will be asked to prepare a presentation about their current research to open discussions about different aspects and to define the new trends in the field. The workshop is expected to establish new synergies among the attendees, being an opportunity for future collaborations.

Being conscious of this, the Speech Communication Group of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in collaboration with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has the honor and pleasure to invite the whole scientific community to the 1st Automatic Assessment of Parkinsonian Speech Workshop (AAPS'2024) to be held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, the 21st-22nd of November 2024 and hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
